Creative cocktails, glittering infinity pools & superstar DJs spinning by the beach – I tested out the best Bali beach clubs for your 2025 bucket list. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it...
If your Bali itinerary doesn’t include a day at a beach club, you’re doing something seriously wrong. Bali’s best beach clubs are so much more than just doof-doof party hubs (though yes, we’ve got those too). We have beach clubs dedicated entirely to Balinese culture, and even a sustainable, zero-waste beach club (this one might surprise you!).
So, I spent the past few months beach club-hopping my way across Bali, re-reviewing old favourites and unearthing new gems. I found top spots for swimming, wild pool parties, and laid-back lounges where locals sneak off to escape the crowds. This 2025 beach club guide is built on my personal experience – all to help you find the best beach club in Bali for you and your crew.
My Top Pick Beach Clubs in Bali
1. FINNS Beach Club – Canggu
Best for: Pool parties and all-day lounging

If there’s one Bali beach club that’s as iconic as it is debaucherous, it’s FINNS Beach Club. This Canggu beach club sits on the black sands of Berawa Beach, and you can’t miss it. It’s a staggering horizon of three pools, three party restaurants, 11 bars, seven kitchens, daily DJs and live performances – plus all-day parties, seven days of the week.
If it’s a party vibe you’re after, you’ll want to spend an entire day here. You’ll be lounging on your own daybed, swimming to the pool bar for cocktails, and tucking into all the different menus. Then as the sun goes down, the vibe ramps up. Cue dancing beneath the stars to international DJs spinning late into the night. It’s one of the most comprehensive beach clubs in Bali, and they throw the biggest parties in town.
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seating, starting from IDR 2,500,000. Each booking comes with towels, bottle service and high-speed internet.
Good to know: FINNS beach club is an adults-only beach club.
Local tip: For the best party seat, book a Party Bed. For a more chilled experience, book a VIP Luxe Bed.
Where: Jl Pantai Berawa, Berawa, Canggu
Opening hours: Daily, from 11am

2. Sundays Beach Club – Uluwatu
Best for: Delicious grazing right on the beach, between snorkelling and kayaking

This one’s a Bali must-try. Not only because it’s got powdery sands and azure ocean, but also because Sundays Beach Club is one of the only beach clubs in Bali that actually sits directly on the beach (as in, your toes are in the sand, all day long). To find this beach club, you’ll need to head to The Ungasan (a clifftop resort) then take the cliff-side escalator down to the beach. When you arrive, you get that true ‘welcome to paradise’ feeling, thanks to a heavenly combo of sun, sand and sea.
A day at Sundays really is the ultimate beach experience. You can go snorkelling, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, or simply kick back in your cabana to graze on delish cocktails and an expert menu from celeb Aussie chef, James Viles. In fact, the menu is so good, I sometimes come here for lunch alone. It’s all about seaside-inspired bites – think mahi mahi tacos, barbecued lobster and wood-fired pizzas. Oh, and if you stick around until sunset, they light up the beach bonfires for roasting gooey marshmallows!
Entrance fee: General admission starts from IDR 800,000 per adult.
Good to know: Sundays Beach Club is family-friendly. Children aged 5 to 11 years old can enter at half the price, while those younger enter for free.
Local tip: If you’re in a group, pre-book one of the VIP Bungalows or the Beach House – it’s like having your own private pad on the beach!
Where: Jl Pantai Selatan Gau, Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan
Opening hours: Daily, 7.30am – 9pm

3. White Rock Beach Club – Melasti
Best for: All-day beach parties, fully equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems

If you’ve found yourself on Bali’s southernmost coast, in search of a beach club that’s bold and a little bit boujee, you’ve come to the right place. White Rock Beach Club teeters above the ever-famous Melasti Beach (yes, that beach you’ve seen all over Instagram), and it’s a whopping 7,500-sqm oceanfront playground. Just one step inside and I was struck with jaw-dropping ocean views, cutting-edge architecture and a hypnotic buzz from the live DJs.
It was mid-afternoon when I visited, so the vibe was already heating up. As the day passed by, the soundtrack slowly built from beachy grooves to a full-blown dancefloor by sunset. And wow, the parties here are impressive, with state-of-the-art lighting, mega sound systems and international artists. You can even hire a private suite here for a special event, and they’re so sleek, they look like bachelor pads. Wherever you choose to sit (there are sofas, daybeds, cabanas and suites), you always feel in the heart of the action.
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seating, starting from IDR 1,000,000.
Good to know: The main pool area by the DJ stage is for adults-only, but there are family-friendly seating options on either side.
Local tip: If you fancy a massage during your beach day, you can book the Spa Day Beds, which include a 60-minute spa treatment!
Where: Melasti Beach, Ungasan
Opening hours: Daily, 10am – 9pm

4. Potato Head Beach Club – Seminyak
Best for: The environmentally-conscious beach and sun-seekers

Back in the day, Potato Head Beach Club was only known for its headlining live acts and wild pool parties. But now, things have changed – big time. What you might not know is, this ultra-famous beach club is part of Desa Potato Head, which is a wholly sustainable, zero-waste ‘village’. Every facet has been carefully and consciously considered, and in every corner, you’ll find nods to local culture, community and the environment.
That’s just one of the (many) reasons why this beach club always tops my list. Other reasons include the incredible food (with lots of plant-based options), the cocktails that use native flora, and the countless venues across the Desa that top off a day at Potato Head. I usually spend the day poolside, then head up to Sunset Park at sundown – it’s one of the best sunset bars in all of Bali.
Entrance fee: Free, except during peak hours. From 4.30pm to 7pm, minimum spend starts from IDR 250,000
Good to know: Potato Head Beach Club is both kid- and pet-friendly.
Local tip: Arrive early – not only to secure the best seat, but also to check out all the eco-initiatives, which are presented along the bamboo tunnel as you walk in.

The best beach clubs in CANGGU
5. La Brisa
Best for: Boho beach club vibes with castaway island decor and designs

If beachfront cocktails and shabby-chic tropical vibes sounds like your kinda jam, then turn up and chill out at La Brisa. This Canggu boho-beanbag beach club on Echo Beach is from the same family as La Favela and La Plancha in Seminyak. As such, La Brisa brings more of the same ramshackle-cool that helped make all the others such roaring successes. There are multiple pools overlooking the ocean, too!
I love those reclaimed wooden deck chairs, and the gorgeously casual with a chic edge. Yep, none of the castaway island charm has been lost at La Brisa. And that translates to the food. It’s rustic Spanish cooking topped with delish cocktails, which you can enjoy beneath swaying palm trees as a hot soundtrack plays in the background. Basically, everything you need for a lazy beach day in Canggu.
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seatings, starting from IDR 700,000.
Good to know: La Brisa Beach Club is both kid- and pet-friendly.
Local tip: I head here typically on Sundays because that’s when the LYD Sunday Market is held. It’s where I pick up organic veggies from the LYD farm, as well as other natural and zero-waste products.
Where: Jl Pantai Batu Mejan Gg. La Brisa, Canggu
Opening hours: Daily, 10am – 11pm

6. The Lawn
Best for: Gourmet poolside bites and expertly mixed cocktails

Stylish cocktails, gourmet bites and a nod to local culture makes this happening spot on Batu Bolong Beach a firm favourite. When it comes to Canggu’s ever-growing beach club scene, the grass really is greener at The Lawn. Not going to lie, I’ve spent days here soaking up the ocean views and catching the sunset glows. It’s also one of the more relaxed beach clubs during daytime. You can dip in the oceanfront pool and lounge on a beach-chic daybed, as Canggu’s beautiful crowds lap up the sunshine and good island vibes.
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seatings, starting from IDR 350,000 per person.
Good to know: The Lawn Beach Club is family-friendly, with a dedicated menu for kids.
Local tip: I often head upstairs to Skool Kitchen, for chilled sunset cocktails on the balcony and wood-fired dinner at the chef’s counter.

7. COMO Beach Club
Best for: Surfers and families who love a more luxurious and peaceful beach club experience

A luxury beachside escape with an eco-conscious twist, COMO Beach Club is a refined yet relaxed destination within the five-star hotel, COMO Uma Canggu. This chic oceanfront retreat blends contemporary design with sustainability. I can easily spend the day here, tasting the locally sourced cuisine and expertly crafted cocktails. As part of COMO’s Asia-wide portfolio, this beach club embodies sophisticated island living, with feel-good vibes and professional service.
Entrance fee: Free, but non-staying guests must book ahead.
Good to know: COMO Beach Club hosts a pet-friendly Sunday Brunch, meaning your furry friends get complimentary treats.
Local tip: Unlike other beach clubs in Canggu, the music here isn’t loud, so I was able to carry on conversation seamlessly. The food here is also a standout – in fact, I came here often just to dine.
Where: COMO Uma Canggu, Jl Pantai Batu Mejan, Echo Beach, Canggu

8. LUNA Beach Club
Best for: Those who love unique designs and architecture

Luna Beach Club is an immersive beach club within Nuanu Creative City, just 20 minutes from central Canggu. When I arrived at the main parking area of Nuanu, there were buggies which took me straight to the beach club. From there, it’s acres of verdant landscape, sweeping above the stunning black sands of Nyanyi Beach.
I propped up by the cliff at sunset for a more chilled ambiance. I even stayed back for the futuristic light show at the THK Tower. And the later it got, the Utopia Cave Club below came to life with epic tunes and theatrical performances.
Entrance fee: Free, but entry to Nuanu Creative City is priced at IDR 50,000 per adult. Kids under 12 years old can enter for free.
Good to know: As it’s located in a relatively hidden part of Bali, finding transport might be challenging. Luna Beach Club does provide a local taxi service which operates until midnight. So, I recommend driving or pre-booking your pick-up if you’re planning to stay longer.
Local tip: There are multiple outlets within Luna Beach Club itself. They offer a variety of dining experiences and places to cool down, as daybeds and sofas are not shaded.

9. Tropical Temptation Beach Club
Best for: Diverse themed events and parties

Tropical Temptation Beach Club sits right on Melasti Beach, with white sands, soaring cliffs and glittering waves as the daily backdrop. At the heart of this paradisal picture is the immersive bamboo structure, specifically designed by locals to preserve Balinese artisanship.
Picture breezy cabanas, shaded daybeds, and plush oversized sofas surrounding dazzling infinity pools. One is even made of glass with its own jacuzzi, which I happily dipped into, of course! As night falls, live DJs and cultural performances set the mood. So I settled in for a breathtaking sunset, exclusive bottle service, and uninterrupted beachfront views…
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seatings, starting from IDR 1,800,000.
Good to know: Tropical Temptation Beach Club is an adults-only beach club.
Local tip: It’s located quite far from other tourist destinations, meaning you may find it difficult to find or book a taxi.

Opening hours: Daily, 10am – 9pm

10. Ulu Cliffhouse
Best for: Friendly, relaxing atmosphere by day that turns livelier at night

Hovering high up on Bali’s Bukit peninsula, Ulu Cliffhouse has quite literally elevated the island’s beach club scene to new heights. I was blown away by the unreal views across the deep blue Indian Ocean that’s enhanced perfectly by the 25-metre pool and the seaside-inspired bites. For sundown, I headed down to check out the regular DJ lineup. It’s a rotating cache of local and international DJs who know just how to serenade that sunset.
Entrance fee: Day pass starts from IDR 900,000.
Good to know: Each pass includes a welcome drink, food and beverage credit, daybed use, a yoga or pilates session, and a 60-minute massage.

Where: Jl Labuan Sait No. 315, Padang Padang, Uluwatu
Opening hours: Daily, from 8am
11. Karma Beach
Best for: Exclusive, private beach vibes

Break out the superlatives as Karma Beach is quite simply stunning. It’s home to multiple oceanfront venues, adding to Karma Kandara’s never-ending list of outstanding drinking and dining.
The Mediterranean restaurant dishes up grilled seafood and bites. Meanwhile, the bar is all about high-end cocktails, carefully crafted by the resident mixologist using local ingredients and quality European spirits.
My perfect beach day here consists of bespoke cocktails, splashing in the lagoon, then a barefoot walk on the pristine beach before washing off the sand at the Karma Spa for a divine spa treatment or two. Pure bliss.
Entrance fee: General admission starts from IDR 800,000 per person.
Good to know: Each admission includes food and beverage credits, a towel and beach activities.
Local tip: The best, most scenic way to get to Karma Beach is via its iconic hilltram. There’s a staircase too, if you fancy a long hike.

12. El Kabron Cliff Club
Best for: Pool parties at sunset, with loads of Instagram photo-ops

Overlooking Dreamland Beach and with jaw-dropping views all the way to Uluwatu, El Kabron is a pilgrimage for savvy sunset worshippers. The emphasis here really is on afternoon poolside grazing and nightly sunset parties that roll on towards midnight. I’ve made my friends green with envy with a cheeky Insta snap in their iconic infinity pool, with the Indian Ocean as a backdrop and a mandatory glass of Sangria in hand.
Entrance fee: Minimum spend starts from IDR 400,000 per person in the dining area, or IDR 1,400,000 in the lounge area with pool access.
Good to know: While the dining area is open to all, the lounge area with the infinity pool is open for adults only.

13. Minoo Beach Club
Best for: Relaxing vibes and chiller music for all ages

Minoo means “heaven” in Persian, and it’s exactly that: a heavenly, paradisal beach club perched on the bright white sands of Melasti Beach. It’s a chic and chilled-out beach club with a 12-metre infinity pool, framed by a traditional “Jukung” boat that doubles up as a lookout spot.
I like to spend the day here lazing by the pool, soaking up the sun on a lounger, and grazing on beachside favourites, like calamari, pizzas, salads, burgers and cold fresh coconuts. Smooth tunes from local DJs naturally top it all off…
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies for premium seatings.
Good to know: Minoo Beach Club is both kid- and pet-friendly.
Local tip: The best sunset spots get snapped up quickly, so you’ll want to come early. I recommend arriving before 2pm, so you’ll have enough time to settle in and go for a swim before catching that golden glow.
Where: Jl Pengayutan, Melasti Beach, Ungasan
Opening hours: Daily, 10am – 8pm
14. Palmilla Beach Club
Best for: Boho beach club vibes in Uluwatu and Ungasan area

A boho beach club on the white sands of Melasti Beach, Palmilla Beach Club is an oceanfront escape with bamboo cabanas, shabby-chic swings (instead of bar stools!), and sun-soaked daybeds. I came with my beach crew, so we shared a few bites, jugs of cocktails and buckets of cold beer. Whether you’re kicking back in a hammock, cooling off in the infinity pool, or sipping coconuts under swaying palms, this is barefoot beachside bliss at its finest.
Entrance fee: Starting from IDR 100,000 per person.

Perched above pristine white sands and Ceningan’s legendary surf break is Suku Beach Club. This spot offers all of those Bali beach club must-haves but with calmer, laid-back island vibes. I could simply sit by the pool all day with a cold coconut in hand. Or nab a seat on a daybed as I graze on easy, poolside bites. And while I love a good ol’ icy beer, you’ll want to try Suku’s signature cocktails, too.
Entrance fee: Free. Minimum spend applies to premium seatings for three hours, starting from IDR 250,000.
Good to know: Suku Beach Club is both kid- and pet-friendly.
Local tip: As Suku is close to other popular gems like Secret Point Beach and Blue Lagoon, you can easily tie it into your Ceningan itinerary.
Where: Jl Sarang Burung, Nusa Ceningan
Opening hours: Daily, 8am – 9pm
