Can’t sleep? Here are 20 fun things to do in Singapore at night, from late-night bites to midnight workouts.
Steamboat at midnight, grocery runs after hours, and 24/7 city vibes: Singapore is a night owl’s dream. As folks who’ve explored the Lion City long past bedtime, here are our recommendations on the best things to do after dark. From scenic strolls to supper spots, we’ve got you covered.
1. Dine, dance and party 62 storeys high

HighHouse isn’t your usual Clarke Quay party playground, but trust us, it knows how to throw a night to remember (with a view to match). Sitting pretty on Level 62, this swanky day-to-night spot mixes food, music, art, and a whole lot of flair into one unforgettable experience.
We loved its Dinner and Dance concept, a glow-up version of old-school company D&Ds with burlesque, live music, and way more sparkle. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays come alive with burlesque and carnival dancers, while Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are for vibing with violinists and saxophonists.
Price: from $50 (cocktails and food)
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 11.30am – 1am; Wednesday and Friday, 11.30am – 3am; Saturday: 5pm – 3am

2. Step into a multi-sensory AR oasis

Looking for a free evening activity that’s big on vibes? Make your way to Sentosa’s Sensoryscape, a 350m-long multi-sensory garden trail that’s perfect for date nights or killing time with your camera roll wide open. At Symphony Streams, it’s all about zen. Think soft music inspired by rustling leaves and flowing water. Then there’s Glow Garden, where giant illuminated flower stalks light the way like something out of a Studio Ghibli film.
Stick around after sunset for ImagiNite, a nightly light show featuring seven digital art installations that turn the space into a surreal night garden. Bonus: some zones come alive with AR, so whip out your phone at Scented Sphere and Symphony Streams for some magical surprises.

You’ve probably experienced this at some point: ordering a bottle at midnight, only to find out the bar is closing in 10 minutes. Thankfully, there are still watering holes that will serve you your poison until the early hours. Swing over to late-night bars in Singapore that won’t disappoint.
If you ask us, we simply can’t get enough of Dragonfly Bar. Though it’s small, the space is a visual feast. Think teal-hued interiors, hundreds of hand-blown lamps, and a dazzling stained-glass dragonfly centrepiece. Pop by for live music and classic cocktails for an evening to remember.
